Via livestream, art lovers can watch over Iowa artist Rose Frantzen’s shoulder as she paints a portrait of Tessa Mendoza, a senior in kinesiology and health. Mendoza has embraced her student adventure by combining excellence in academics with research experience in the neurophysiology lab, internships in data science and sports analysis, and leadership in student organizations. The portrait is slated for inclusion in Frantzen’s public art installation, Faces of Iowa State.
