Understand and learn the philosophies of Gilbert's Strength and Conditioning Program as well as other schools and other coaches around the country. Also coach and teach young athletes the principles of exercise as well as help with technique and form.
I got to learn so many different philosophies about strength and conditioning from not only Gilbert but around the state and the country. Not only did I learn, but I was able to put it into first hand with the Speed School that Gilbert holds for their athletes and being able to lead and help in those sessions.
There are many philosophies to Strength and Conditioning, so don't always stick to one. Branch out and try new things!
What advice would you give?
Always work hard at what you do. If your teachers, professors, coaches, bosses, etc see that you're working hard, they'll be more willing to help you. Always work hard and don't be afraid to ask for help.
