Accomplishments
Over the course of my internship, I think that my greatest accomplishment was finding my "coaching voice". I was able to step outside my comfort zone a little bit and be confident in myself, my training and knowledge.
Learning experience
My greatest lesson I learned was, it is okay to be uncomfortable. There may be times where something doesn't feel right or you are scared to do it, but you just have to do it. Once I learned that lesson the rest of the semester because that much more fun because I was able to not focus on being anxious to do something taking away from the coaching side of it.
What advice would you give?
My advice would be to never stop learning. The field of Kinesiology is always moving and it can be really easy to fall behind. Never be afraid to have conversations that challenge you.
