Learn/operate Chiropractic software "Chirotouch", read X-rays, assist with administrative tasks and observe chiropractic procedures, help patients understand why they are having pain and the plan to make them better. General front desk work: Answering the phone, scheduling patients, insurance filing, create conversation with patients as they wait. -Observe how the practice is ran, and observe how the doctor treats his patients and forms relationships. -Become familiar with chiropractic "talk" and be able to explain to patients what different things mean.

My greatest accomplishment from this internship was developing great people skills. When you are in a field that requires face to face interaction being able to create conversation and form special relationships with every patient is very crucial.

What advice would you give?

If I could go back and do it all over again I would double major and have my minor be in business. The business side of owning a chiropractic office is over half of the total responsibilities and I believe it would be super beneficial to have some basic business knowledge to back that up along with whatever profession you choose!
