Responsibilities
Shadowing trainers with all different types of clients, creating workouts for personal training sessions, assisting group fitness instructors, training club members, running InBody scans for clients to assess body composition, upload personal training contracts, clean facilities, and organize equipment.
Accomplishments
Helping a client who struggles with the effects of a brain injury increase his quality of life.
Learning experience
That you’ll always need to be ready to adjust your plan on the fly. Clients may need their workout adjusted based on what they train by themselves or what mobility issues they may have.
What advice would you give?
Be open-minded and pay attention. You can learn something new from everyone you work.
