Responsibilities
At United movement I was in charge of a variety of tasks. My main task nearly everyday was to perform Kinetisense (3D motion capture technology) assessments using iPad on new & existing clients. After the assessments I had to generate reports and send them over to physical therapists & chiropractors to further assess their needs and recovery options. I also networked with local businesses and exchange information. Along with networking I also made handwritten thank you notes to partnerships we receive and give referrals to. Every once in a while I had to build and put together new gym equipment handling power tools. Finally, I also was able to assist personal training sessions (demonstrate movement and proper technique).
Accomplishments
Reaching out to partnerships and getting United Movement even more referrals. The thank you notes I sent out were a big way of saying we appreciate their business/partnerships and it got United Movement more business.
Learning experience
Understanding more real world experience and that in the workplace, there are even higher expectations than in the classroom.
What advice would you give?
Network! Talk to whoever whenever because not only is it a small world, but you never know what connections you can make that will unexpectedly benefit your future.
