Julius Miller is a student in the Department of Kinesiology’s Master of Digital Health online program. He works full-time and was looking for a way to blend a passion for wearable health technology with his scientific background.

“The passion I gained for wearable devices back in high school and college never really went away. I wanted to try to find a program where I could continue to pursue that passion. It’s one thing to go back to grad school, it’s another thing to go back and stop working entirely, which for me wasn’t economically feasible. I wanted to find a program where I could pursue my passions, but also keep working. Lo and behold, Iowa State unveiled its new online master of digital health program,” said Julius.

The program’s fully online format allowed Julius to balance work, family, and his education. Backed by Iowa State’s cutting-edge research and academic excellence, the program gave him the flexibility to learn on his schedule without compromising on quality.
