Application Process
- Applicants whose primary language is not English must meet the English proficiency requirement by any of the options listed on the Graduate Application Information site.
- Apply via the Graduate Application Information site:
- Provide the names and contact information for three letters of recommendation as part of your application.
- Letters of recommendation should be from professors from your previous degree(s) or supervisors you have worked closely with and can speak to your academic strengths.
- The university will contact your references. Do not send letters separately. Tell those writing letters of recommendation that they will provide them as a part of the ISU Admissions online application process.
- Fill out and upload the Graduate Program Information Sheet (PDF).
- Identify your areas of interest and the graduate faculty with whom you’d like to work.
- Unofficial transcripts are also required as part of the application packet.
- Apply for an assistantship in kinesiology and health. Fill out and upload the Application for Graduate Assistantship (PDF).
- Upload your statement of purpose
- Upload your resume
