About me: Hey everyone! My name is Makayla, I am a Senior this year! When I started my freshman year here at Iowa State, I was a Biology major but decided to switch to Kinesiology 2nd semester so I hope I can help you guys out if you’re in the same situation as I was! In my free time, I enjoy being active, reading romcoms, and anything that involves shopping! Another thing about me is that I am the President of the Pre-Physical Therapy Club! I am so excited to get to know all of you!

About me: Hi all! My name is Lilly Winterowd and I am one of your peer mentors for this fall semester. One of my favorite spots to study on campus is the M-shop in the MU. When I am not studying, I love spending time with my friends, going on walks, getting coffee or boba, and cheering on the cyclones! I cannot wait to meet all of you!

About me: Hi everyone! My name is Kendall Smith and I am a junior at Iowa State on the pre-pharmacy track! I have always been involved in sports and fitness, which is what led me to become part of the kinesiology department. I am also a transfer student from a different four-year institution and am hoping I can relate and provide some help to other transfer students on campus! When I am not studying, I enjoy hanging out with my friends, watching movies, spending time outside (I love being outdoors!) and then I am also part of the Club Softball team, Christian Campus Fellowship group, and you also might find me working at the Cafes on campus! I am looking forward to meeting you all in the fall!

About me: Hi everyone! A little bit about me, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and playing sand volleyball with friends. Currently, I’m working in the emergency department as a medical scribe. My favorite places to study include the library, the student innovation center, and of course, the many coffee shops around Ames. I’m so excited to meet you all!

About me: Hi everyone!  My name is Evan and I couldn’t be more excited to start off my Senior year by getting to meet and work with new Kinesiology students!  My favorite hobbies are going to the gym, watching movies, and hanging with friends.   I am the vice president of Human Sciences Council and also a member of the Pre-med club.  My favorite place to study on campus is the bottom floor of Curtiss Hall and I can be found there very often.  I’m so excited to meet everyone and get started!

About me: Hi, I’m Dakota! I’m a transfer student from a community college and just recently changed my major to Kinesiology, Pre-PT. I hope that my own experiences can help other students in their transition to Iowa State and Kinesiology! My favorite study spot is a hidden corner in Parks but when I’m not there, you can find me hanging out with friends, exercising, reading, or enjoying the outdoors. I can’t wait to meet you all!
