Earn a First-Class Coaching Endorsement
The courses listed below are required to obtain a coaching authorization or endorsement in the state of Iowa:
- BIOL 155 or BIOL 255 – Human Anatomy (3 credits)
- PSYCH 230 – Developmental Psychology (3 credits)
- A TR 220 – Basic Athletic Training (2 credits)
- KIN 315 – Coaching Theory and Administrative Issues (3 credits)
Note: An applicant for the coaching endorsement must hold a teacher’s license.
